Acupuncturist Sally Tomme, L.Ac

Sally Tomme, L. Ac., is a licensed acupuncturist and nationally board certified Acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner.  She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a Master’s Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine, with over 4000 hours of training in both the classroom and clinic settings. She was a physical therapist for 40 years, retiring from physical therapy in 2016 to devote her energies entirely to her Chinese medicine and acupuncture practice.

She enjoys treating a variety of conditions, including, but not limited to:

  • Headaches, including migraines
  • Neck and back pain
  • Asthma and allergies
  • Acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders
  • Respiratory infections
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • Menstrual problems and PMS
  • Arthritis and joint pain
  • Neurologic disorders such as Parkinson’s and MS
  • High blood pressure
  • Shingles pain
  • High cholesterol
  • Side effects of chemo and radiation as well as cancer pain
  • Chronic pain syndromes

Many of these conditions respond well to acupuncture and/or herbal treatments even when other treatments have been unsuccessful.  Effects of treatment are cumulative, that is, one treatment builds upon the previous ones so that over time, effects are longer lasting.  The needles are very thin, and most people find the treatments very relaxing and often fall asleep during their treatments.
