Charles F. Bonanno, DC, CCSP, M Ed

Dr. Charles F. Bonanno received his BS degree in General Science and his DC degree in Chiropractic (DC for doctor of Chiropractic) from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. Dr. Bonanno became board Certified in Sports Chiropractic(CCSP for Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician)in 1989.

Dr. Bonanno started in private practice in Colorado Springs, CO in 1989 with emphasis on spinal rehabilitation and sports chiropractic. Patient's included athlete's from the Olympic sports of taekwondo, wrestling, skeet shooting as well as professional baseball. Dr. B is a former consulting chiropractic physician to many of the United States Taekwondo Team Members.

Dr. Bonanno relocated to his home town of Garfield, NJ in 1995 were he continues to practice. He founded Integrated Medical Center, PA in 1998 which is a medical center that takes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

As a Certified Health Teacher, Dr. Bonanno teaches health classes to Garfield High School students since 2002.

Dr. Bonanno went on to receive his Masters degree in Education, Administration and Supervision, from St. Peter's College in 2006.

In 2007, Dr. Bonanno added a Spinal Decompression Center within Integrated Medical Center, PA.  Integrated Medical Center specializes in the treatment of low back pain and offer the medical breakthrough therapy known as spinal decompression, a non-invasive procedure for the relief and cure of chronic and severe low back pain cases.


Mark Szymczak, MSPT, DPT, MDT

Mark Szymczak, MSPT, DPT, MDT graduated from Seton Hall University in 1997 with a bachelor of science degree in Biology and went on to attend the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he received a master of science degree in Physical Therapy in 2000. He returned to study at he University of Medicine and Dentistry and received a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2003. Dr. Mark then continued his professional education with the McKenzie Institute and became certified in mechanical diagnosis and treatment of the spine in 2005. He has specialized in Orthopedic Physical Therapy since 2000.

Sabrina Sena - Acupunturist

Sabrina Sena, M.S., C.A. received a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. She is board certified by the NCCAOM in both acupuncture and herbology, and she is certified to practice acupuncture in both NJ and NY. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Rutgers University. As a result of her education and internship at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in NYC with the Initiative for Women with Disabilities, she has experience treating the symptoms of various conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Depression, Degenerative Joint Disease, Skin and OB/GYN disorders. She also participated in a clinical training and education program at the China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Centre.

Carl Demmie, DC

Dr. Carl Demmie was born and raised in Garfield and currently resides in Clifton, NJ.  He received his B.A. from Montclair State University and received his D.C. degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 1986. 

Dr. Demmie started his private practice in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina in 1987.  Dr. Demmie has completed extensive postgraduate training and treats young and old alike through gentle and effective methods.  He has continued his professional education with the McKenzie Institute.

Dr. Demmie holds multiple teaching certifications and is presently teaching Science to special needs students in the Garfield School District.

He received his Master's degree in Counseling - Student Personnel Services from Montclair State University in 2002.
